Old Basket Lu'an

Lu'an tea is a dark tea and was created in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty at Sun Yishun tea house in Anhui Province. The tea is made using leaves picked before the first rain then placed into an oval bamboo basket wrapped in brown leaves, giving it a unique aging fragrance.

Sun Yishun Old Basket Lu'an has a mild flavour. It has thickness and sweetness of Pu'er, but also a refreshing taste with distinct layers. Lu'an tea is very popular in Southeast Asia and Guangdong due to its due to its ability to clear “heat” and detoxify in summer.
