2022 Suzhou Dongting Biluochun
Dongting Biluochun is one of the top ten tea in China with more than 1,000 years of history. Biluochun has been listed as a tribute to the emperors since the Tang Dynasty. It was also called the Kung Fu tea or “new blood” tea. According to legend, there was a wild tea in the east of Dongting Mountain, and the locals harvested this tea every year. One year, the tea grew so well that it filled all the baskets, so the locals carried the tea in their arms. The tea was warmed by body heat and bursted out strong aroma, so it gained the nickname of “scary fragrance”. After the local officials offered this tea of Emperor Kangxi, he liked it, but sensed the name being improper, so he named the tea "Biluchun" (literally jade Spring snail).
